Reservations and Payments

1. Booking Confirmation: Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of a 50% deposit. The balance must be paid at least 30 days before arrival.
2. Payment Methods: Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or other methods specified at the time of booking.
3. Late Payments: Failure to pay the balance on time may result in cancellation of the reservation.

Cancellation Policy

1. Cancellation Charges:
   • More than 60 days before arrival: No charge (full refund of deposit).
   • 30–60 days before arrival: 50% of the deposit is non-refundable.
   • Less than 30 days before arrival: Full payment is non-refundable.
2. Changes to Reservations: Any changes are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

Check-in and Check-out

1. Check-in: From 2:00 PM. Early check-ins are subject to availability.
2. Check-out: By 10:00 AM. Late check-outs may incur additional fees.

Lodge Policies

1. Wildlife Safety: Guests must adhere to safety guidelines provided by the lodge, especially regarding encounters with wildlife.
2. Children: Children are welcome. However, parental supervision is required at all times, particularly during outdoor activities.
3. Non-Smoking Policy: Smoking is not allowed in rooms or enclosed areas but is permitted in designated outdoor spaces.
4. Pets: Pets are not permitted.

Activities

1. Fishing and Safari: Activities such as tiger fishing, game drives, and boat trips are subject to weather conditions and availability.
2. Liability Waiver: Guests participating in activities must sign a waiver and adhere to the guidance of the lodge staff.
3. Cancellations by Lodge: Activities may be rescheduled or canceled due to unforeseen circumstances. Refunds or alternatives will be offered.

Liability

1. Shayamoya Fishing and Safari Lodge is not responsible for:
   • Loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings.
   • Injuries or accidents occurring on the premises or during activities.
2. Guests are advised to secure travel insurance covering medical emergencies, cancellations, and loss of belongings.

Privacy Policy

1. The lodge respects the privacy of its guests and will not share personal information with third parties without consent.
2. Photos taken during activities may be used for promotional purposes unless guests request otherwise.

Force Majeure

Shayamoya Fishing and Safari Lodge is not liable for cancellations or disruptions due to events beyond its control, such as natural disasters, political unrest, or pandemics.
